This Ancient Art has travelled through the centuries and reflects the styles favored within a particualr time period including those of our present day.  Mosaic holds the special characteristics of being one of the oldest and most long lasting forms of mural and floor decoration.

Each mosaic is unique because it assembled from thousands of individually hand cut and hand placed tiny tiles of stained glass (tesserae).  The "artist's hand" is very present in the finished work, there is movement and individual expression.  As one client exclaimed: "It feels like it is alive..."

The Design Process is entirely collaborative with the cleint.  An initial consultation helps me to build a sense of the client's particular style, which in return inspires the final design.
